The long awaited photos.

Thanks to the hard work of eveyone, the shoot was a great success. For this shoot we used the garffiti alley of Ann arbor, located on E.Liberty opposite borders. The cocept was more of a punk theme, and we try to move away from the traitional street wear theme. And the end result is this nice cross over between punk/street/rock. I had a lot of fun on this shoot and I hope that everyone had a good time too. The download links for the processed photos will eb available later, please wait for just a bit longer.

Paint, usually finds on canvas, is a medium that is well known and used. What we try to achieve with this series of photo is to use paint as an organic object, the shape, the color becomes the fabric that we use to cloth the models.

This shoot is based off on a series of photos by Daniel Weiss. Daniel Weiss tries to capture people’s vulnerability, after he got them wet. I want to achieve something similar, but to show people strength, like “you can’t rain on my parade”. Since this will be a simple head shots, I have open this shoot to all to join in.

Hey Guys,

After alot of tinkering and consideration, I have come up with the schedule for the summer. We have added quite a few things. First off I have remove the session on 5/24 due to time constrains and memorial day weekend. Second we have changed up the topics for a bit. Paint shoot will now split into two parts, with part one focus more on a body paint/ background paint of shoot and the second part focus more on our original concept (check the post). A second hardlight shoot has been added with more details coming soon.

If there is other time conflicts or if you want to be in certain shoot (there are some room, but people who are not scheduled at all have priority) just email me. Also I am welcoming everyone to participate as make up artist, stylist, or just want to come and hang out. If you have a certain outfit that will work and you won’t mind us using it, let me know. If you are not scheduled, it is not that I forgot you, but rather I don’t have your schedule, so email me and I will put you in the shoot that you want to be in.

I will also update the individual post to include this information, and feel free to comment on the posts to get some stylistic discussion going!
